Kitchen Fitter / Carpenter – Experienced Tradesperson Required

Location: Plymouth, South West Devon & Cornwall

Pay: Competitive rates (based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time / Ongoing Contract

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Kitchen Fitter / Carpenter to join our growing team, working on projects across Plymouth, South West Devon, and Cornwall. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in kitchen installations and general carpentry, with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry or equivalent qualification
  • Valid CSCS card (essential)
  • Asbestos Awareness certification
  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Fitter or Carpenter (domestic and/or commercial settings)
  • Ability to work from technical drawings and plans
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail
  • Own tools and transport preferred
  • Good communication skills and professional attitude

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fitting and assembling kitchen units, worktops, and appliances
  • Carrying out associated carpentry work (doors, skirting, architraves, trims, etc.)
  • Ensuring all installations meet company quality and safety standards
  • Working efficiently and independently or as part of a team
  • Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
