Peaple Talent have exclusively partnered with a leading renewable energy organisation who are recruiting for a Head Of Finance/Finance Manager based out of their offices in Royal Leamington Spa. This role will be pivotal to the future growth of the organisation and would be a great opportunity to shape the financial strategy of the business over the next 5 years.

This role would suit someone who's from and SME background and has been on the growth journey and has great attention to detail and can provide hands on leadership and structure in a dynamic fast paced growing SME environment.

Salary £60,000 - £80,000pa

Flexible hybrid working 1 day per week in the office in Leamington Spa 4 days remote

About the Role

  • Work alongside senior management to shape financial planning, forecasting, and reporting frameworks.
  • Establish best practices into budgeting, procurement, supply chain tracking
  • Develop systems to track project performance, cost allocation, and cash flow, helping improve decision-making and margins.
  • Forecasting to reporting and involvement in the day-to-day operations while building the function for scale.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a senior finance role within an SME or growth-stage business
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to operate both strategically and operationally
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with limited structure
  • Highly proficient in financial planning, reporting, and system implementation

Desirable:

  • Experience working in the engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors
  • Knowledge of procurement, contract negotiation, or commercial operations
  • Previous involvement in system upgrades or ERP implementation
  • Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is desirable but not essential
