Job Title: HR Support Specialist (1 Day per Week)
Location: Stratford Upon Avon / Hybrid
Reports to: Commercial Director
Role Overview:
The HR Support Specialist will play a key role in assisting with both the day-to-day HR administration and contributing to strategic HR initiatives. This one-day-per-week position offers a dynamic blend of operational support and strategic involvement, making it ideal for someone who is looking to contribute to the growth and development of HR practices within a thriving SME.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Administration (Routine Tasks)
- Employee Records Management: Ensure employee records (both physical and electronic) are up-to-date and compliant with relevant legislation.
- Onboarding & Offboarding Support: Assist with preparing onboarding documents, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring smooth transitions for new hires and leavers.
- HR Documentation: Assist in drafting and issuing HR-related letters, contracts, and policies as required.
- Payroll Support: Provide administrative support to the payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely information regarding employee hours, leave, and benefits.
- Employee Queries: Address and resolve routine employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, or administrative processes.
- Staff gatherings: Co-ordinate staff updates, team meetings and social events.
2. Strategic HR Input
- HR Projects Support: Collaborate on key HR projects, recruitment & incentive programmes.
- Policy & Procedure Development: Assist in reviewing, updating, and improving company HR policies and procedures in line with best practices.
- Employee Engagement: Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to £55,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 8 per week
