Are you a dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for Italian cuisine and exceptional service? Made in Italy and La Mia Mamma are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to support the management team, lead by example, and ensure the smooth running of our restaurants.

La Mia Mamma is more than just a restaurant; it's a unique culinary journey. Our concept delivers authentic Italian regional cuisine, prepared and served by real Italian mammas flown in directly from Italy. Made in Italy is a traditional Italian pizzeria and offers a warm, Italian dining experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in staff training, development, and performance management.
  • Supervise and motivate front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Maintain stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as required.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist with financial tasks including cash handling, sales reporting, and budget management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and professional work environment.

Key Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of financials, including sales reports and stock management.
  • Passion for Italian food and culture is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
