Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Installer to join our team in the UK. This role involves traveling across the country to install and configure our advanced monitoring equipment within care home settings. As a key part of our installation team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our technology is seamlessly integrated, providing care teams with the tools they need to deliver exceptional care. We are looking for a candidate with technical experience and the motivation to work in the care sector. You will receive full training on our unique solutions. The ideal candidate would like to be part of a company that is looking to grow and make a real difference for thousands of people.

Initially, there may be some national travel in this role whilst you get trained, and also as the needs of the business require. However, Sensio is a business on a growth trajectory, which will enable us to start working more locally as the team grows. For the right candidate, there will be an opportunity to grow into the role of Project Manager.

The position reports to the Head of Installation at Sensio.

Responsibilities

• Installation: Install and configure monitoring equipment in care homes across the UK.
• Project collaboration: Work as part of a project team to deliver installations on time and to the highest standard.
• Customer interaction: Understand and respond to customer needs, ensuring installations meet their specific requirements.
• Technical communication: Present complex technical information in simple, easy-to-understand terms for non-technical users.
• Relationship building: Build and maintain strong relationships with care home staff and other stakeholders, ensuring a positive experience with Sensio's technology.

What we are looking for

• Technical experience: You are technically minded and have experience with installations.
• Care home experience: You are a caring person and enjoy working in the care sector.
• Initiative and independence: The ability to use your initiative and work on your own under pressure and deliver results.
• Customer focus: Strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to tailor your work to meet these needs.
• Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Team player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a project team and build strong customer relationships.
• Problem solving: Quick learner with excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
