Seasonal Production Assistants – Oakdene Designs (Salfords, Surrey)

Contract: Temporary / Full-Time / Zero Hours

Duration: ASAP – approx. 22nd December

Pay: Minimum wage (age dependent)

Must be 18+ and live within a reasonable commute of Salfords, Surrey

Oakdene Designs is a small, creative business in Salfords (near Gatwick). We design and make personalised gifts sold on Notonthehighstreet, NEXT, Etsy and our own website. As we head into our busy Christmas period, we're looking for practical, motivated people to join our friendly production team.

What You'll Do:

  • Personalise products using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
  • Operate printers and laser machines (full training provided)
  • Pack, assemble and complete customer orders on time
  • Keep work areas tidy and organised
  • Assist customer service with special order requests

Experience (any of the following is a bonus):

  • Photoshop / Illustrator
  • Laser cutting, UV printing, CNC, sublimation
  • Woodworking tools
  • Online retail / eCommerce

No experience? We also have packing and support roles available — enthusiasm and attention to detail matter most.

About You:

  • Practical and confident making or assembling things
  • Good accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and organised
  • Works well under pressure and in a team

Hours & Pay:

  • Pay: Minimum wage (age dependent)
  • Minimum 37.5 hours per week, overtime paid (clock-in system)
  • Peak shifts: 07:30–15:30 or 09:30–17:30 (overtime may be required)
  • Weekend shifts during busiest weeks: 09:30–17:30
  • Free on-site parking
