About the role;

Our Decision Science teams are focused on delivering immediate positive impact to our clients using the latest machine learning and data analytics techniques. We partner with a number of international clients in order to develop and implement our products. We are now looking for a talented Decision Scientist, you'll be responsible for building Machine Learning models to support our products, and will include:

What you will do...

  • You will be responsible for designing our algorithms using relevant statistical and machine learning techniques
  • Define the quantitative elements of projects for internal R&D and external clients, predominantly success criteria
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of our products.
  • Communicating with varying levels of stakeholder in both technical and non-technical language
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset, with an eye for detail and pride in your work
  • Writing high-quality and well-documented code

Our ideal candidate...

  • You will have proven experience working on analytics projects within a STEM background
  • Pragmatic approach to deadlines, focusing on deliverables
  • Practical programming experience, ideally using Python, R, etc
  • Knowledge and experience of using Machine Learning, Data Science, and Statistical techniques
  • Experience presenting results and proposals to a cross-functional team
  • Familiarity with cloud computing tools, ideally Azure

Nice to haves...

  • Experience in a retail background would be beneficial
  • Keen on continuous technical development, data analytics trends and tools
