We're recruiting Bank Radiography Assistants to support our Ultrasound and MRI services across multiple hospital sites in Essex and Suffolk.

Whether you already have healthcare or RDA experience—or you're new to imaging and keen to learn—full training is provided, and you'll be supported by an experienced, friendly clinical team.

  • Ipswich Hospital
  • Colchester Hospital
  • Clacton & District Hospital
  • Felixstowe Hospital

(Ability to travel between sites is desirable but not essential)

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting patients before, during, and after their scan. This could include helping them physically, emotionally or with any paperwork they may need to complete.
  • Providing reassurance and compassionate care
  • Assisting radiographers and imaging staff as required
  • Acting as a chaperone during examinations
  • Supporting department administration and IT systems
  • Helping deliver a safe, high-quality imaging service

Who We're Looking For

You don't need imaging experience—we're looking for the right attitude.

We'd love to hear from you if you are:

  • Caring, friendly, and patient-focused
  • A confident communicator with good customer service skills
  • Interested in working in a clinical healthcare environment
  • Reliable and flexible with shift availability

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Healthcare or NHS experience
  • RDA experience
  • Ability to travel between hospital sites

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
  • Two professional references
  • English language proficiency
