Senior Associate – Real Estate (Manchester)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Real Estate practice at Senior Associate level.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and ambitious real estate lawyer to join a dynamic, full-service team within one of the world's leading legal practices. The role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of domestic and cross-border transactions, acting for a broad mix of occupiers, investors, developers, and fund clients. You will be encouraged to take ownership of complex matters, develop strong client relationships, and play an integral part in the growth and success of the team.

Working in this fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will enjoy a stimulating workload and the opportunity to engage with clients on both strategic and operational levels. The team advises across multiple sectors including Financial Services, Energy, Industrials, Consumer, and Technology — providing variety and high-quality instructions on every matter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting on behalf of high-profile occupier and investor clients on a range of commercial property transactions.
  • Managing your own caseload of complex real estate matters, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Leading day-to-day client relationships and taking an active role in business development initiatives.
  • Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, leases, and asset management across a range of commercial property types.
  • Providing pragmatic, commercially focused advice while ensuring compliance with best practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to deliver innovative solutions and exceptional client service.
  • Supporting junior team members through coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback.

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified solicitor with a
    minimum of 4 years' PQE
    in
    commercial real estate
    gained at a leading law firm.
  • Demonstrate strong technical ability and experience managing transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Have excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills, with a proactive approach to client service.
  • Possess sound commercial judgment and an ability to deliver practical, solution-driven advice.
  • Thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with partners and colleagues across practice areas.
  • Be ambitious, adaptable, and keen to contribute to the continued growth of a market-leading team.
