The Opportunity

You'll work closely with a highly regarded Partner who is known for their deep expertise in commercial contracts and intellectual property, and who brings extensive experience working with leading brands. The team advises an impressive client base — from fast-growth start-ups to globally listed companies — on the full range of commercial agreements, IP, distribution, franchising, data protection, and day-to-day commercial issues.

You'll gain exposure to a wide range of sectors, including retail, food & beverage, fashion, manufacturing and services, with a strong track record of advising well-known household names. The work is varied, complex and genuinely interesting — perfect for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships and adding real commercial value.

About You

  • You're a Commercial Contracts lawyer — likely 6+ PQE — with a strong track record advising on a broad range of commercial matters.
  • You have a network of contacts in the Manchester market, or at least the drive and confidence to develop strong client relationships over time.
  • You enjoy building lasting client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice.
  • Sector experience in retail, manufacturing, or consumer goods is welcome but not essential.
  • You're ambitious, collaborative and ready to make your mark in a supportive, entrepreneurial environment.
