Aon is currently recruiting a Senior Broker to join our North American Property team within our Global Broking Centre.

The role will involve co-ordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of business within the Lloyd's and Company Markets on a day-to-day basis, in accordance with Marketing Strategy.

What the day will look like

As a Senior Broker some of your key responsibilities will involve:

Review SubmissionLead quote broking / Follow market brokingPresent terms to client / networkFirm Order broking (Ebix / wet stamps / email)Record broking activity in market sheetsReview draft / final MRCSend Cover confirmation to client/networkProvide benchmarking and placement advice to clientsClient meetingsRespond to A/C queriesEstablish and manage pipelineworking in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

The GBC works with network colleagues to deliver market-leading solutions to Aon clients, creating a competitive advantage in our placement strategies worldwide.

The team serves a portfolio of clients emanating from North America. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced working environment, with access to Lloyds, the London market, European markets and other Aon facilities to deliver the US Property requirements of Aon's clients.

Ability to interpret and use data effectivelyStrong analytical expertiseSound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes, ideally with regional exposure to/experience across US/Caribbean Technical insurance knowledge across Global Property markets Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client serviceExperience of managing effective client relationshipsGood problem-solving skillsGood interpersonal skillsGood level of numeracyEffective communication and presentation skillsGood understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
