We help students study abroad, build careers, and access real-world opportunities while supporting universities and partners with recruitment and talent solutions. We're now looking for a LinkedIn specialist intern to own, grow, and manage our presence on LinkedIn.

Role Description

Are you the person who lives on LinkedIn-posting, networking, commenting, and watching trends? Do you love turning ideas into scroll-stopping posts and building a professional brand online?

As our
LinkedIn social media & Community Intern
, you will:

  • Manage and grow
    NxtGener's LinkedIn company page
  • Support content for key leadership profiles (including Founder/CEO)
  • Turn our work, success stories, and campaigns into
    high-impact LinkedIn content

This is more than "posting updates" – you'll help shape how the world sees NxtGener.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the LinkedIn content calendar – plan, draft, and schedule posts (company updates, student stories, internship call-outs, tips, partnerships, events, etc.).
  • Create engaging LinkedIn content formats – posts, carousels, polls, documents, basic graphics (with tools like Canva), and short story-style writeups.
  • Optimise every post for reach & engagement using strong hooks, hashtags, tagging, and timing.
  • Actively engage with our audience – reply to comments, respond to messages, and join relevant conversations.
  • Research and connect with universities, student communities, influencers, and partners on LinkedIn.
  • Track and report basic analytics – impressions, followers, clicks, engagement – and suggest improvements.
  • Coordinate with our Marketing and Operations teams to align LinkedIn content with live campaigns.

Must-have skills & experience:

  • You are an
    active LinkedIn user
    with a complete profile and a good understanding of how the platform works.
  • Proven experience creating
    LinkedIn posts
    – either on your own profile, a university club/society, a startup, or a previous role.
  • Strong written English – you can write
    professional yet human and engaging
    captions and stories.
  • Understanding of
    LinkedIn best practices
    :
  • Hooks, hashtags, tagging, posting times
  • Difference between LinkedIn vs Instagram/TikTok tone
  • What works for reach (conversations, value posts, storytelling, etc.)
  • Comfortable using
    Canva
    or similar tools to create simple, clean visuals and carousels.
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work independently with weekly check-ins.

Bonus (not mandatory, but a plus):

  • Experience growing a LinkedIn page or personal profile (followers, views, post reach).
  • Experience with LinkedIn
    Newsletters
    , Events, or creating
    PDF carousels
    .
  • Interest in
    education, careers, study abroad, or recruitment
    .
