We currently have an opportunity for a QA Manager to join the team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work with personnel to implement group strategy for quality management and development to meet agreed organisational performance plans within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain systems for measuring necessary aspects of quality management and regulatory.
  • Monitor, measure and report on quality issues, opportunities and risks within agreed formats and timescales.
  • Ensure quality activities meet with organisational requirements for quality management, health & safety, legal stipulations and environmental policies.
  • Issue, review and approval of QMS documentation, including protocols, specifications, workbooks, SOPs, validation protocols, and all other QMS documentation.
  • Perform and maintain effective control of core site activities of the QMS including CAPAs, investigations, complaints and internal audit/inspections.
  • Champion a continuous improvement culture and direct the change control process.
  • Lead and maintain the company certification to ISO9001 and future additional certification
  • Through audit ensure effective administration of requirements specific to site products/operations.
  • Control and maintenance of quality management system.
  • Archiving of Quality & Technical records.
  • Perform Quality and QMS training and support.
  • Implementing and maintaining a Quality Risk Management system to ensure that risks are adequately controlled.
  • Ensuring that the supplier and subcontractor audits are performed and reported as scheduled.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience of ISO9001.
  • Previous experience within a science/ manufacturing industry is desirable.
  • Use of an electronic management system is desirable.
  • Excellent computer literacy skills
  • Strong organisational and soft skills with the capability to plan, prioritize, and manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines.
