Foxleigh Grove, a family run nursing home of 40 years, is a beautiful stylish country house set in 6 acres, close to the village of Holyport and near to Maidenhead. We are looking for experienced Health Care Assistants to join our friendly team.

Night Duty or Day Duty.

Duties to include:

  • To help wash and dress residents when necessary.
  • To help residents with their toilet requirements.
  • To help with serving of meals and assisting residents with feeding as necessary.
  • Helping to clear away the dishes afterwards.
  • To make drinks, when required.
  • To report any change in residents' condition to the Nurse on duty.
  • To accompany residents to activities outside the Home when necessary.
  • Attend Staff Meetings.
  • Ensure all notices on staff board are read and adhered to.
  • Be aware of and comply with requirements regarding dress code; behaviour; punctuality and attendance as indicated in the Policy and Procedures Manual.
  • Be conversant with and implement the Home's Health & Safety, and Fire and Emergency Policies.
  • Be conversant with the Home's Disciplinary Procedure.
  • Put residents' dirty laundry in the laundry basket for collection by the laundry assistant.
  • Report any changes to a Resident's condition to the Person-in-Charge as necessary.
  • To read and ensure that all reports are accurately completed
  • To participate in training activities
  • To assist with End-of-Life Care for residents who are terminally ill.
  • To attend handovers prior to the start of the shift.
  • To assist with any other duties as required by the Care Manager.
