The Edinburgh Grand, a Luxury Collection hotel, embodies timeless sophistication and heritage in the heart of New Town. Old Town Chambers, part of the Autograph Collection, blends contemporary design with centuries-old charm. Completing this exceptional trio, Abbey Strand Apartments offers an independent luxury experience within a historic royal setting at the foot of the Royal Mile.
Together, they represent a rare opportunity to shape the commercial journey of some of Scotland's most iconic addresses — each now part of Marriott International's global portfolio of luxury and premium brands.
Cluster Director of Revenue Management
We are seeking an exceptional, commercially astute
Cluster Director of Revenue Management
to lead and evolve the revenue and reservations strategy across this unique cluster of luxury properties.
This high-impact role combines strategic leadership with hands-on commercial management - balancing brand individuality with cluster-wide cohesion. You'll oversee all aspects of revenue optimisation, distribution, and reservations, ensuring a seamless commercial approach that maximises profitability and enhances the guest journey from booking to stay.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Revenue Leadership
- Develop and execute integrated revenue and reservations strategies across all three properties, aligned with brand identity and commercial objectives.
- Balance the distinct needs of each property to optimise total cluster performance.
Commercial Performance & Optimisation
- Maximise total revenue across rooms, F&B, M&E, and ancillary services.
- Drive performance through effective segmentation, pricing, and inventory control.
- Lead the Reservations Department, ensuring accurate forecasting, conversion excellence, and an exceptional pre-arrival experience.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Continuously monitor local and global market trends, competitor activity, and economic shifts.
- Translate insights into actionable strategies to sustain competitive advantage.
Forecasting & Analytics
- Deliver precise forecasting, budgeting, and revenue reporting for all properties.
- Use commercial data to influence business decisions and guide long-term strategy.
Distribution & Channel Management
- Oversee all distribution channels — online and offline — ensuring optimal mix, rate integrity, and brand consistency.
- Champion direct bookings while maximising performance across third-party platforms.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver unified commercial strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop both the revenue and reservations teams, building a culture of analytical excellence and guest focus.
Brand & Product Positioning
- Protect and enhance the distinct identities of each property - ensuring every pricing and distribution decision reflects their individual character and positioning.
About You
- Proven experience as a Director of Revenue or Cluster Revenue Manager in the luxury or upper-upscale hospitality sector.
- Expert knowledge of Marriott International systems and tools (One Yield, MARSHA, Opera, etc.)
- Strong analytical capability and strategic foresight, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable commercial strategies.
- Commercially minded and results-driven, with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience managing multi-property portfolios or mixed-brand environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the Edinburgh luxury market and wider UK hospitality landscape will be a distinct advantage.
