We are currently looking to expand our team with a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Mechanic to provide expert servicing on both vans and cars.

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including both vans and cars. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled mechanic who enjoys hands-on work and wants to be part of a growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and emergency vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks on both vans and cars.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including engine, transmission, suspension, exhaust, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports on repair needs.
  • Manage and complete scheduled service work in a timely manner.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the workshop and vehicle areas.
  • Handle occasional on-call duties, including weekend and evening call-outs for urgent repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding service progress and vehicle conditions.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic, working on both vans and cars.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
  • Full UK driving license with the ability to operate a company van.
  • Ability to perform complex repairs with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to handle occasional on-call weekend and evening duties.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • A team player with strong communication skills.
