Are you looking for exciting, flexible work in a fast-paced environment? Constellation is hiring enthusiastic and customer-focused Casual Waiting Staff to be part of our team for the upcoming 2025/2026 racing season at the legendary Cheltenham Racecourse .

Whether you're an experienced hospitality professional or looking to gain experience in events, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of one of the UK's most iconic sporting venues.

Location:

Cheltenham Racecourse, Prestbury Park, Cheltenham, GL50 4SH

Key Race Day Dates:

You'll have the chance to work across the season on the following major race days:

  • The Showcase: Friday 24th & Saturday 25th October 2025
  • The November Meeting: Friday 14th - Sunday 16th November 2025
  • The International: Friday 12th & Saturday 13th December 2025
  • New Year's Day Racing: Thursday 1st January 2026
  • Festival Trials Day: Saturday 24th January 2026
  • The Cheltenham Festival: Tuesday 10th - Friday 13th March 2026 (Our biggest event of the year)
  • The April Meeting: Wednesday 15th & Thursday 16th April 2026
  • Race Night featuring Hunter Chase: Friday 1st May 2026

There will also be opportunities to work many conference & events shifts across the year.

Role Overview:

As a member of our casual waiting staff team, you'll play a key role in delivering unforgettable customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional table service in a variety of hospitality areas including restaurants, private boxes, and premium suites
  • Greeting and interacting with guests in a warm and professional manner
  • Taking food and drink orders and ensuring timely, accurate service
  • Assisting with food and beverage set-up, service, and clear-down
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards throughout service
  • Supporting the wider hospitality team where needed, including bar and kiosk assistance during peak periods
  • Adhering to all health & safety and hygiene standards
