Purpose of the Role
As Head of Learning & Development, you will define and implement a progressive L&D strategy that supports the organisation's business objectives and regulatory requirements. This pivotal leadership role will drive adviser capability, promote a blended learning culture, and support continuous development across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for the L&D function, ensuring the delivery of innovative, engaging, and effective learning solutions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop members of the L&D team to achieve individual and departmental objectives.
  • Design and oversee the delivery of training programmes that are fully evaluated using the Kirkpatrick model, with demonstrable results communicated to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular training needs analysis to identify organisational skill gaps and develop appropriate interventions.
  • Ensure all L&D initiatives comply with regulatory standards and align with Network and business requirements.
  • Establish and promote blended learning methodologies, incorporating digital learning tools, workshops, and coaching.
  • Work collaboratively with senior leadership to ensure training supports business strategy and drives measurable results.
