Note: While you'll start in a specific team, client-facing roles naturally evolve over time, offering the chance to work with different clients, teams and sectors across Mace Consult as projects and priorities change.

What you'll do

Responsibilities
In Creative Editorial, you will play a key role supporting the business in producing written content, adhering to content/writing plan guidelines. Some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting teams with content writing and technical content editing
  • Ensuring consistent quality and methods of content creation are used
  • Providing informal guidance to more junior roles
  • Assisting with proofreading and content copy-editing
  • Develop working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders

You will also work towards gaining professional membership of a professional association, fully funded and supported by us. Depending on your existing qualifications and your career goals, options include the
Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)

About You

  • A future or recent graduate with a bachelor's degree or higher in any subject
  • 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications)

Given the nature of our work, adaptability is key. Our projects and clients are based in various locations, so you should be prepared to travel frequently to different project sites or Mace Consult offices. A positive and adaptable approach to travel is therefore essential, as it may be a regular part of your role. To support this, Mace Consult offers travel expense reimbursements for business travel, including mileage, public transport fares, and, where necessary, accommodation.
