About us

Oscar's is a fish and chips takeaway business in Sidcup.

We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking orders, serving customers and handling inquiries in an efficient and professional manner. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated at customer service in catering / hospitality , as well as excellent verbal and organizational communication abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and take orders from customers at store, over the phone and from delivery portals.
  • Effective coordination with kitchen staff for making sure required food is cooked in time
  • Serve the customers / delivery drivers on priority order
  • Use good judgement when dealing with customers, visitors, family, and co-workers
  • Answer customer questions or concerns
  • Ensure availability of minimum level of fast moving food for faster service.
  • Ensure adequate stock level of packaging material
  • Keep kitchen area clean and tidy, be top of cleaning on daily basis
  • Be patient and consistent.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £7.50-£13.50 per hour
