Movement Matters Physio is an established private practice physio clinic that is based in Hadleigh, Benfleet, Essex.

Movement Matters Physiotherapy is looking for a skilled, enthusiastic part-time receptionist to join our team. The candidate will be expected to work 11 hours per week: 6 hours Monday 2pm-8pm and 5 hours Saturday 8am-1pm, with the addition of being available and flexible for staff sickness and holiday cover.

We are a friendly, patient orientated practice offering a high quality, modern, evidenced based approach, putting movement and exercise at the heart of our treatment.

The ideal candidate will be an individual who demonstrates high quality receptionist competency and who is willing to grow and develop new skills as part of a friendly driven team.

Job summary

Location: Hadleigh, Essex

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Experience Required: Candidates must have experience of working on reception in a professional environment.

What will be expected

A receptionist at Movement Matters Physio will be a key member of the team and responsible for:

Administrative Duties:

  • Taking appointment bookings and payments face to face, via telephone, emails and online platforms.
  • Managing general inquiries and transferring them as necessary.
  • Front of house, meeting and greeting patients.
  • Managing social media and assist in event organisation.

The candidate will be based front of house permanently therefore excellent meet and greet, interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Training will be provided to learn and develop using our electronic patient software (Private Practice Software) and company systems and policies.

Candidates will have to learn and develop an understanding of medical terminology, our business ethos and adhere to our businesses core values.

Candidates should:

· Be an outgoing and enthusiastic individual looking to add value to our company.

· Have excellent face to face and telephone communication.

· Have great organisational and time management skills.

· Have great attention to detail.

· Be able to work unsupervised and demonstrate good business acumen.

· Have excellent IT (Microsoft word and excel compulsory) and numeracy skills.

· Be able to use electronic software (training provided – candidates will be required to become competent with this software).

- Be competent using various social medial platforms (Fb, Insta, Youtube etc)

· Satisfactory DBS check
