Business Development Manager – Payments & Fintech
Leeds office - for those further afield, this a remote role with travel to Leeds once a month
My client is a fast-growing, tech-driven payments provider, helping e-commerce and enterprise businesses across travel, events, financial services, gambling, forex, and more. Since 2007, they've been delivering tailored payment solutions and reliable acquiring partnerships that help their clients grow.
They are looking for a
Business Development Manager
to drive new business, build strong client relationships, and deliver value through every interaction. This is a high-impact, target-driven role for someone who thrives on results —
the perfect next step for an SDR looking to move into their first full closing position and take ownership of the entire sales cycle.
What You'll Do:
- Own and exceed ambitious sales targets
- Prospect and generate leads via social selling, email, telesales, and events
- Run discovery meetings and product demos to identify client needs
- Deliver tailored payment solutions and commercial proposals
- Stay ahead of trends in payments, acquiring, and fintech
- Maintain a strong pipeline and manage your sales process end-to-end
What We're Looking For:
- Proven track record in sales (SDR, AE, or BDM experience)
- Ideally looking for somebody who has sold to relevant verticals (gaming, gambling, forex, crpyto, travel, financial services) or Payments experience
- Comfortable engaging with mid-market and corporate decision-makers
- Results-driven, proactive, and commercially minded
- Strong communication and presentation skills
