Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Door Access Engineer based in Edinburgh. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting access control systems and security solutions for clients. Daily tasks include diagnosing technical issues, providing support for network-connected systems, and ensuring system efficiency and security. The Door Access Engineer will work closely with clients and team members to maintain and enhance access control technologies.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Troubleshooting and providing Technical Support for access control and security systems
  • Experience in Network Security to ensure the protection of systems, as well as Network Design skills for implementing secure and efficient connections
  • Understanding of Telecommunications systems to support connectivity and communications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently on-site
  • Previous experience working in security systems installation or a related field is preferred
  • Relevant certifications or training in network or security systems are an advantage
