*Location: Central Belt Scotland (Mobile)*
Hours Per Week: Mon-Fri, 40 hours
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent*
*The Mobile Maintenance Engineer Shall
- Carry out planned and reactive works within the agreed times and to the highest standard, complying with current regulations and clients' specifications.
- Undertake fault finding, diagnostics, and minor works across a wide range of electrical, mechanical, and building fabric assets.
- Complete like-for-like asset replacement.
- Inspection of plant & equipment, ensuring results are captured accurately.
- Working either as part of the maintenance team completing small maintenance activities or work independently on minor repairs without local supervision.
- Able to carry out works as per agreed timeframes ensuring practical completion is achieved as scheduled.
- Management & replenishment of local site stock including waste management.
- Provide professional, customer-focused service at all times.
- Liaise with site based clients, Graham colleagues, and the Helpdesk to keep work on schedule.
- Supervise specialist subcontractors to ensure workmanship and compliance.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation, reports and maintenance records.
- Manage time effectively to account for travel between multiple sites.
- Use their own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance, including sourcing parts & materials, and seeking manufacturer technical support.
- Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to.
- Respond to emergency callouts as part of a rota, providing out-of-hours engineering support.
- Overall site welfare duties.
- Will be comfortable working at height.
- Undertake a range of maintenance tasks including general repair items:
- Lighting repairs
- Toilet/plumbing repairs
- Fire Door inspections
- Air Handling Units
- Air Conditioning VRV's
- Emergency Lighting testing
About You
Essential Criteria
- Hold a minimum of 3+ years' experience in a building maintenance role, particularly in relation to planned, reactive and remedial maintenance.
- Current Full UK Driver's Licence
- Trade Qualification
- Registered CSCS/CSR Card or equivalent skill card
Desirable Criteria
- IOSH Working Safely
- PASMA
- IPAF
- Fire Door Inspection
- 18 th Edition BS7671
