We're delighted to once again be partnering with one of Manchester's most respected and forward-thinking developers as they look to appoint a
Design Manager
to their growing team. Renowned for delivering high-profile, design-led projects across Manchester city centre and beyond. This developer sets the benchmark for quality, attention to detail and ambitious placemaking, with a portfolio spanning residential, mixed-use and large-scale regeneration schemes.

The Role

As a Design Manager, you will take a lead role in driving the coordination, development and delivery of design information from early concept stages through to construction. You'll work collaboratively across internal development teams and oversee external consultants and contractors to ensure design intent, quality and technical excellence are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design leadership
    across multiple complex schemes
  • Technical and quality management
    to uphold best-in-class standards
  • Project coordination
    across multidisciplinary teams
  • Stakeholder engagement
    with consultants, contractors and internal teams
  • Construction support
    to maintain design integrity onsite

Who We're Looking For

To be considered, you must come from an architectural or design background, with proven experience delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use developments in the UK. This is a senior appointment, suited only to someone who can confidently hit the ground running.

We also welcome applicants who are currently in Development Manager roles, provided you have the essential architectural/design foundation.
