Summary:
LIVINGWAY is accelerating its technology transformation and embedding artificial intelligence across operations, resident experience, performance management, and service delivery. We are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking AI Architect to design, implement, and oversee our AI ecosystem across property management, BTR operations, customer service automation, and internal operational efficiency.
This role will ensure AI is deployed responsibly, securely, and strategically to drive measurable value across the entire LIVINGWAY portfolio including Yardi integrations, maintenance intelligence, resident engagement, workforce enablement, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Architecture
- Develop LIVINGWAY's AI architecture, roadmap, and governance framework aligned with business strategy and operational goals.
- Lead the design of AI infrastructure, tool stacks, and integration frameworks across Yardi, CRM systems, maintenance platforms, marketing channels, and resident apps.
- Identify automation opportunities, efficiency improvements, and AI driven innovations for BTR, facilities, leasing, marketing, and finance.
AI Model Design & Implementation
- Build, fine tune, and deploy AI models for natural language processing, enquiry handling, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, workflow automation, and operational optimisation.
- Design AI agents to support community managers, maintenance teams, onboarding, compliance processes, and resident support.
- Oversee RAG pipelines, vector databases, data ingestion, and knowledge graph architectures.
Data Management & Integration
- Develop scalable data architectures that unify operational, finance, leasing, and resident-experience datasets.
- Ensure high data quality, security, lineage, and integrity across all AI models and systems.
- Partner with the CFO, COO, and technology vendors to unify data flows across systems.
Automation & Operational Efficiency
- Build automated workflows for leasing funnels, triage, maintenance routing, reporting, and communication management.
- Introduce predictive analytics for forecasting occupancy, rent performance, maintenance trends, and resident churn.
- Support the creation of automated dashboards for leadership and asset management.
AI Governance, Security & Compliance
- Establish responsible AI guidelines, auditability, data governance, and model monitoring practices.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, data-privacy regulations, and internal risk frameworks.
- Conduct regular reviews of model performance, fairness, and operational impact.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Enablement
- Partner with senior leadership, site teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into AI solutions.
- Deliver training, documentation, and adoption programmes across the business.
- Act as the internal AI thought leader, continuously scanning the landscape for new tools, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as an AI Architect, Machine Learning Engineer, AI Lead, or similar senior technical role.
- Demonstrable experience deploying AI in operational, customer-facing, or enterprise contexts; real estate, BTR, hospitality, or SaaS experience beneficial.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG, embeddings, multimodal models, and tool-agent architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Python, ML frameworks, cloud infrastructure (Azure/GCP/AWS), vector databases, and data-engineering pipelines.
- Deep capability in systems integration, APIs, and enterprise architecture.
- Experience implementing automation in CRM, ERP, or property-management systems (Yardi preferred).
- Strong grasp of GDPR, data privacy, and AI governance requirements.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for operational teams.
