Thanks to continued growth and new contracts, we're expanding our transport team and looking for Transport Planner to join our team.About the RoleWe're looking for a proactive and organised Transport Planner to join our busy logistics team. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced transport office. You'll help coordinate and plan deliveries, support drivers, and keep operations running smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for route planning, coordinating pickups and deliveries, and ensuring efficient transport scheduling. Prior experience with multidrop Artic, rigid and van deliveries is beneficial, though full training will be provided.Organising backloads for the fleetUpdate and create driver manifests using our bespoke transport systemHandle calls and queries from drivers, customers, and suppliersPerform data entry and maintain accurate recordsSupport compliance and paperwork for transport regulationsLearn and use logistics software to track schedulesProvide general administrative support to the logistics teamWho We're Looking ForStrong interest in transport and logistics operationsConfident using computers and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)Excellent communication and organisational skillsDetail-oriented and able to work under pressurePrevious experience in a transport office and route planning of multidrop Artic, rigids and van deliveries - Beneficial, though full training will be provided.Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic environmentThrives in a team environment and always steps up to ensure the job gets done.What We OfferCompetitive hourly rate with potential for salary negotiationWeekley paid (Fridays)20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidaysYearly bonusPension enrolmentComprehensive training and ongoing supportA collaborative, welcoming team environmentCareer progression opportunities in logistics and transport.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: Up to £30,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
