We are seeking an experienced technologist to lead the design, development, and ownership of the technology platforms that will underpin and enable the tech-enabled growth of our Consulting services.

We have bold plans for the future of our Consulting business. At the heart is a vision to become a truly Digital First business, where we provide Consulting solutions to our clients that are powered by leading cloud and AI technologies. For example, risk assurance solutions based on a continuous analysis of key data points in a client's controls environment; forensic solutions based on advanced pattern matching leveraging machine learning across multiple client data sets; finance function solutions that move beyond traditional accounting to deliver advanced insights to finance leaders delivered online.

This role is responsible for building and managing scalable, the cloud-based, AI-enabled infrastructure that supports the transformation of these consulting services, enhances client delivery, and enables new revenue streams. The Consulting Technology Platforms Leader will act as the senior key technologist within Consulting, working closely with the leaders in the central National Technology function, and global counterparts, to craft and deliver a technology platforms strategy that will empower our Consulting teams and help us truly differentiate.

**Key Responsibilities:

Technology Platforms Strategy & Ownership**

  • Define and own the technology platform strategy for Consulting, aligned with the firm's broader digital and data strategies.
  • Build and manage cloud-native platforms that support AI, data, and automation capabilities across all six consulting solutions.
  • Ensure platforms are secure, scalable, and future-ready, enabling rapid innovation and delivery.

Infrastructure Design & Delivery

  • Design and oversee the cloud infrastructure and AI capabilities required to transform consulting delivery models.
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of platforms that automate client workflows, enhance data-driven insights, and support new service models.
  • Ensure infrastructure supports autonomous growth of Consulting while remaining aligned with National Technology.

Technical Leadership & Execution

  • Act as the technical authority within Consulting, bringing deep expertise in cloud engineering, AI integration, and platform development.
  • Lead the selection, configuration, and integration of technology tools and services that enhance client delivery.
  • Oversee platform administration, performance, and continuous improvement.

Collaboration & Alignment

  • Work closely with the CIO, CDO, and National Technology teams to ensure alignment with firmwide architecture and governance.
  • Collaborate with the US Consulting Technology counterpart to share best practices and co-develop global capabilities.
  • Partner with the AI Transformation Director to ensure platforms support the AI strategy and enable innovation at scale.

Consulting Enablement & Growth

  • Provide the technical foundation for new consulting offerings and delivery models.
  • Ensure platforms are designed to support rapid scaling, operational efficiency, and enhanced client experiences.
  • Support Consulting teams in leveraging technology to improve delivery, reduce manual effort, and increase value to clients.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure all platforms and services comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for platform usage, data access, and AI model deployment.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Deep technical expertise in cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, or GCP), AI/ML platforms, and enterprise data systems.
  • Proven experience in building and owning technology platforms in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of AI integration, automation, and platform scalability.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including business, data, and technology leaders.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
