HR Team Leader

We're looking for a HR Team Leader to join our HR Shared Services team based in Rushden.

Location: Rushden – hybrid working available, with travel to the office required 1-2 days per week

Hours: 37.5 hours per week – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As a HR Team Leader you'll be working within the HR Shared Services team, supporting them in delivering a high-quality employee lifecycle service.

Your day to day will include:

• Coordinating daily tasks and ensuring work is completed within deadlines
• Acting as an escalation point for complex queries and mentoring team members
• Supporting the Team Manager with root cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Monitoring performance against KPIs and producing reports to drive service enhancements
• Providing accurate HR/pay-related administration using Oracle HR and other systems
• Oversee a team of administrators, ensuring 121's, performance management, review and development conversations are carried out

What are we looking for?

This role of HR Team Leader is great for you if:

• You have experience in high-volume HR administration, ideally in a Shared Service Centre
• You have previous experience managing teams in a high volume HR administration environment
• You're confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems (Oracle HR desirable)
• You're organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
• You're a strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• You're enthusiastic about creating a positive team culture and supporting others
