About Us

We are a friendly, busy family household looking for a reliable, experienced part-time housekeeper to support us with the smooth running of our home. This is a long-term role for someone who genuinely enjoys creating calm, clean, and organised spaces and who feels comfortable working around children.

This is a rewarding and fulfilling position within a respectful household where your work will be valued and appreciated.

The Role

The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining our home to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation, helping the household run efficiently and smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:


•General housekeeping and cleaning to a high standard


•Organising cupboards, drawers, and household spaces


•Laundry, inc washing, drying, folding, and putting away


•Ironing


•Changing bed linen and making beds


•Basic home cooking and meal preparation


•Keeping the kitchen clean and organised


•Occasional childcare support (e.g. supervising children briefly when needed)

About You

We are looking for someone who:


•(preferably) Has previous experience working in a private household, ideally a busy family home


•Is highly organised, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work


•Has a genuine passion for cleanliness and organisation


•Is trustworthy, discreet, and reliable


•Enjoys being around children and feels confident in their presence


•Can work independently and take initiative


•Has a warm, positive attitude and good communication skills

Hours


•Part-time: approximately 18–20 hours p/wk


•Days and times to be agreed (with some flexibility on both sides)

Must be trustworthy, discreet, and able to work with integrity within a private family home. A high level of honesty and reliability is essential. References will be required.
