The
Chair of Corporate & SME Relationships
will play a transformative role in ensuring PWN London's growth, sustainability, and long-term impact. By cultivating strong, mutually beneficial partnerships, this trustee will generate the resources that allow us to deliver high-quality programmes, events, and initiatives for our members.

Through their leadership, we will strengthen our presence within the corporate landscape, establishing PWN London as the go-to partner for organisations committed to advancing gender-balanced leadership. This trustee will not only secure sponsorships and memberships but also help us co-create initiatives with companies that share our mission — expanding our reach, credibility, and influence.

By developing a clear corporate engagement strategy and building relationships with decision-makers across industries, they will open new avenues for collaboration, funding, and visibility. Their work will directly translate into more mentoring opportunities, better training resources, and higher-quality events for our members.

The impact of this role goes beyond revenue. It will help position PWN London as a trusted thought leader within the corporate world — a bridge between businesses seeking to improve gender diversity and the talented professional women driving change.

Ultimately, this trustee's efforts will empower PWN London to expand its programmes, attract more members, and deepen its social and economic impact. By bringing businesses and women together around shared values of leadership and equality, the Chair of Corporate & SME Relationships will help us build a stronger, more connected, and more sustainable future.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded leader with strong experience in
sales, business development, or corporate partnerships
, ideally gained in a professional or membership-based environment. The ideal trustee will be a natural relationship-builder — confident, persuasive, and comfortable engaging senior executives across both large corporations and SMEs.

Experience in
negotiating sponsorships, managing partnerships, or securing funding
will be essential, as this role is pivotal in driving financial sustainability for PWN London. A background in
B2B relationship management
,
CSR or ESG partnerships
, or
strategic account management
would be particularly valuable.

We are seeking someone with a strong network in the corporate world, who can open doors and initiate conversations that translate into long-term partnerships. The right trustee will combine strategic vision with hands-on drive — able to design partnership models that align business goals with PWN London's mission of advancing gender-balanced leadership.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial. This person should be confident representing PWN London at senior-level meetings and networking events, able to convey our impact in a compelling and results-oriented way. They should also be highly collaborative, working closely with the President and the Board to align corporate engagement with our broader objectives.

This role would suit a professional who enjoys connecting purpose with performance — someone who thrives at the intersection of commerce and social impact. A genuine passion for gender equality, women's empowerment, and inclusive leadership will be key, as this trustee will be a visible ambassador for PWN London's values.

In essence, we are seeking a strategic relationship builder who brings energy, credibility, and ambition. Their lived experience in navigating the corporate world, coupled with a commitment to driving positive change, will make them an invaluable force in helping PWN London grow its partnerships, expand its influence, and deliver sustainable impact for years to come.

What will you be doing?

Our Board brings together senior professionals from diverse industries, united by a shared mission to advance gender-balanced leadership through meaningful connection, mentoring, and professional development. As we prepare for the 2026 term, our key priority is to strengthen our financial sustainability and expand our partnerships with both large corporations and SMEs.

We are seeking a
Chair of Corporate & SME Relationships
to join our Board and lead this vital area. This trustee will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing strategic partnerships that support PWN London's mission, events, and programmes.

Working closely with the President and the Heads of Events and Marketing, this trustee will identify and engage companies aligned with our values, with the goal of securing sponsorships, memberships, and collaborative opportunities. They will oversee our corporate engagement strategy, ensuring that our partners see measurable value in their involvement — whether through visibility at flagship events, thought leadership collaborations, or access to our professional community.

This role is ideal for someone with strong business development and relationship-building experience, comfortable engaging senior executives, negotiating sponsorships, and driving results. The trustee will also work to diversify our revenue streams, cultivating relationships not only with established corporations but also with ambitious SMEs that share our commitment to empowering women in leadership.

As part of the Board, the Chair of Corporate & SME Relationships will play a key role in shaping our long-term financial strategy and ensuring the sustainability of PWN London's activities. They will collaborate with other Board members to align partnerships with our annual goals, support the creation of tailored sponsorship packages, and represent the network at high-level events and external meetings.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, well-connected individual who thrives in building partnerships and enjoys the challenge of connecting purpose with business value. Their contribution will directly influence the success and longevity of our organisation, helping PWN London continue to grow as a respected and impactful network for professional women.
