CJ Driscoll Accountants & Tax Advisers are expanding We're looking for a Company Secretary and Bookkeeper to join our growing team on a full-time or part-time basis.

About the Role:

You'll be supporting a range of clients with day-to-day bookkeeping, VAT submissions, payroll, Companies House filings, and general administrative duties. The role is ideal for someone organised, detail-oriented, and confident using accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage).

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers

Prepare and file VAT returns

Assist with payroll and HMRC submissions

Handle company secretarial duties (confirmation statements, incorporations, etc.)

Liaise with clients and ensure compliance deadlines are met

Requirements:

Previous experience in bookkeeping and/or company secretarial work

Knowledge of UK accounting and filing procedures

Strong communication and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
