Mandatory Skills for working with this client:

• A full UK driving licence (applications without this will not be considered)

• Previous experience in care or a similar support role
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a 2:1 support team, and/or individually, ensuring all aspects of the client's care and wellbeing are met
• Reliable and flexible

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and assistance to individuals with disabilities and/or special needs (Supporting the ages of 8+, adults and elderly (65+).
• Assist with daily living activities in the home such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration (all training provided).
• Assist with daily community activities such as shopping, bowling, cinema, swimming, walking, sporting events, and many other days out that our client(s) may be interested in.
• Support individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills, whilst promoting their social skills.
• Promote a safe and inclusive environment for individuals to thrive in.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to support and implement person-centered care plans.
• Document and report any changes in behavior or health status to appropriate personnel (This is reported through our care app).

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred but not essential, as full-training will be provided.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (we aim for our staff to work - one weekend in, one weekend off).
• Valid driver's license, with business insurance and reliable transportation.
• Our staff will be expected to use their own vehicle to travel between clients when on day visits - When transporting a client, your mileage will be paid at a rate of £0.45 per mile.
• Enhanced DBS (Can be obtained upon completion of our interview).

Comprehensive Induction, Training & Development

Upon successful interview, all new staff complete a structured induction and training programme designed to give you the confidence and skills to work safely and effectively in your role.

This includes:

• Online Certificates (completed in-house):

Core e-learning modules to build your knowledge of care standards, safeguarding, confidentiality, and best practice.

• Practical Training:

Hands-on training sessions in Manual Handling, Medication and First Aid, ensuring you can support clients safely and in line with regulations.

• Company Induction & Systems Training:

A guided introduction to our company handbook, policies and procedures, and how to use our care systems and documentation. We also cover day-to-day working practices, communication and expectations when working with clients, colleagues and other professionals.

• Shadow Shifts & Ongoing Support:

Each staff member will complete supervised shadow shifts, which will be regularly reviewed, with guidance and additional training provided throughout. This helps ensure you are competent in your duties, fully confident in the role, and feel consistently supported in your practice.

Pay structure:

All staff who join our company, enroll in a 6-month probationary period. Upon completion of their probationary period, the Staff's pay will be equivalent to their level of qualification.

Frank House Care Services Ltd work alongside a training provider, who can deliver on-the-job training, to complete their levels of care certificates, such as Level 1-3 Health and Social Care, Level 1-3 Childcare, and courses for development into a manager role.

We aim to give all of our staff to develop with Frank House Care Services Ltd, into higher qualifications, or future management positions (if interested).

• Pay starting at £13 ranging all the way to £15.00
• Full time staff are required to be available for two evenings each week

All our pay rates are reviewed annually, we aim to remain significantly above the minimum working wage each year.
