Job Overview

Noble Insurance is a leading independent insurance intermediary, who is looking to appoint a highly motivated Claims Handler to join our team with a great attitude to learning.

Office based in Arundel, West Sussex, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a small claims team and develop a career.

The successful candidate will be managing a portfolio of claims across yacht and small craft, musical instruments, guns and safety deposit boxes from notification to settlement as well as taking first notifications of claims for caravan and static park homes.

Review all necessary documentation and evidence to support claims decisions.

Identify and escalate complex or high-priority cases to the senior staff for further review.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claims activity in the claims management system.

Making decisions on quantum and liability.

Communicate through multiple channels, including phone and email.

Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

. Basic understanding of proactive claims handling and insurance principles or previous experience in an insurance/customer service within the insurance industry sector.

. A knowledge of small boats is desirable – but not essential.

. To liaise with customers, repairers and others as needed to maintain contact and resolve any issues arising.

· Great customer service when speaking to customers over the phone or via written correspondence.

. High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in claims processing.

. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload effectively.

· An enthusiastic and upbeat personality, with a can-do attitude.

· A desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our clients.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Experience of working in an office is desirable, but not essential.

· The ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
