Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. This position involves interacting with customers, managing reservations, and supporting the overall operations of the front of house.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest flow.
  • Take orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
  • Serve food and beverages with attention to detail, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
  • Assist in food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing solutions where possible.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service operations.

Skills

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Experience in food preparation and bartending is a plus, enhancing versatility within the role.
  • Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help others are key attributes for success in this role.
