Overview

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. Responsibilities

  • Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of engineering systems and components
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment and machinery
  • Support project teams in preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentations
  • Participate in site visits and fieldwork to gather data and observe operational processes
  • Contribute to problem-solving activities by analysing technical issues and proposing solutions
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Engage in training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and practical skills

Requirements

  • A recognised qualification in engineering or a related discipline (e.g., BEng, HND, or equivalent)
  • Strong interest in engineering principles, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software or other relevant engineering tools is desirable but not essential
  • A proactive attitude with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
  • Willingness to undertake training programmes and adhere to company policies
