We are seeking a motivated Trainee Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of engineering systems and components
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment and machinery
- Support project teams in preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentations
- Participate in site visits and fieldwork to gather data and observe operational processes
- Contribute to problem-solving activities by analysing technical issues and proposing solutions
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Engage in training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and practical skills
Requirements
- A recognised qualification in engineering or a related discipline (e.g., BEng, HND, or equivalent)
- Strong interest in engineering principles, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Basic knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software or other relevant engineering tools is desirable but not essential
- A proactive attitude with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Willingness to undertake training programmes and adhere to company policies
