Residential Children's Home Team Leader
We are looking for a team leader to join our new residential home based in Redcar. We are looking for someone that will support the home manager and deputy manager in leading and managing the children's home.
This is a full time 40-hour contract
Rotas could include a mixture of the following shifts - Day shift, Night shift and Sleep ins

As a team leader you will be responsible for -
- Ensuring Support Workers are meeting the needs of children in accordance with their care plans
- Ensuring all needs of the children are met
- Overseeing safeguarding
- Completing risk assessments and ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated
- Ensuring children access services that meet their education, social, emotional, mental health, and well-being needs
- Planning and delivering the service and its programs to meet the needs of children
- Ensuring care planning, key working, safeguarding, incidents, health, education and activities recording is completed in the required timeframe and to the required standard.
- Ensuring that Care Reviews Reports are prepared in advance and that Children are prepared and supported during the process.
- Leading on Missing persons procedures, ensuring that detailed logs are kept and that all communications are recorded.
About you -
- You'll have relevant experience of working in a residential setting with children.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, Young People's Services; or equivalent is a must
- A commitment to continuing professional development.
