At Louisa Homecare Ltd, we're looking for reliable, compassionate individuals to join our team as Full-Time Home Care Assistants. This role is about more than providing care — it's about bringing comfort, dignity, and kindness to people in their own homes across Westbury.
What You'll Be Doing
As a valued member of our care team, you'll play an essential role in helping clients live safely and happily at home by:
- Assisting with personal care and daily routines
- Preparing meals and ensuring clients enjoy their food
- Supporting with medication reminders and wellbeing checks
- Offering companionship, reassurance, and a friendly presence
- Providing light household assistance and encouragement to promote independence
Every visit is unique — sometimes it's practical support, sometimes it's a meaningful conversation that brightens someone's day.
Position Details
- Full-time: 35–40 hours per week
- Flexible shift options (mornings, afternoons, evenings)
- Weekend work included as part of your rota
What You'll Need
- A warm, caring, and trustworthy nature
- A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Good spoken English and clear communication skills
- Previous experience in care is welcome — but not essential (full training provided)
What You'll Receive
- £14.65 – £21.00 per hour (higher rates for weekends)
- Mileage paid at £0.45 per mile
- Guaranteed hours contracts available
- Paid induction and ongoing training, with opportunities for career progression
