What the Role Involves

As a Home Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in your clients' daily lives by:

  • Assisting with personal care routines and daily living tasks
  • Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition
  • Providing medication reminders and wellbeing checks
  • Offering companionship, reassurance, and a friendly face
  • Promoting independence through encouragement and practical support

Your presence will bring comfort, confidence, and continuity to those you support.

Position Details

  • Full-time role: 35–40 hours per week
  • Shift options: Mornings, afternoons, and evenings
  • Weekend work: Included as part of your schedule for variety and flexibility

What You'll Need

  • A warm, caring, and dependable nature
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Good spoken English and communication skills
  • Previous care experience is welcome but not essential — full training is provided

What You'll Receive

  • £14.65 – £21.00 per hour, with higher pay rates for weekend shifts
  • Mileage paid at £0.45 per mile
