Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
As a Pressure Logging Operative, You'll be part of our Network Operations Team. The purpose of this role will be to provide excellent customer service to our customers by undertaking operational tasks, resolving customer issues, and carrying out network valve activities with the least disruption to supplies.

As the Pressure Logging Operative your duties & responsibilities will be:

  • Daily deployment of Pressure logging 'Lift and Shift' equipment throughout our water network.
  • Installing and maintaining pressure loggers on the water networks.
  • Download/upload of data logging equipment.
  • Reading Water Network plans and schematics.
  • Identifying water network fittings for deployment.
  • Potential requirement for out of hours (night/early start) work.
  • Co-ordination of weekly activities with Project Manager
  • Completion of job forms and time sheets or other required information.
  • Ensure Safe Working Methods are applied.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Do you have pressure logger knowledge? This would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Do you have Lone working experience?
  • Have you got excellent communication skills to effect positive interactions with customers?
  • Are you PC literate? Particularly in Microsoft Office applications like Word and Excel.
  • Do you have Health and Safety knowledge and are capable of operating equipment and tools within an operational environment?
  • Do you hold a valid UK driving license?
