The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Sales Manager to lead the expansion of our packaging business into the European retail market.

You will act as a pioneer in retail channel development, responsible for building partnerships with major retailers and distributors, driving new product listings, and managing end-to-end sales execution.

This role offers high autonomy and strong support from our China headquarters, allowing you to shape market strategy and achieve significant growth in your region.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and expand retail channel partnerships, focusing on supermarkets, hypermarkets, and chain stores across Europe.

Introduce and position new packaging products, managing the process from first contact to on-shelf launch.

Leverage your retail network to connect with key purchasing decision-makers (e.g., Aldi, Lidl, Carrefour, Tesco).

Coordinate with manufacturing teams in China to ensure seamless project delivery, quality assurance, and payment collection.

Analyze retail market trends and data to identify growth opportunities and refine product strategies.

Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings to build brand awareness and market presence.

Report market insights and performance to management, offering data-driven recommendations.

Job Requirements

Proven B2B sales experience with direct exposure to retail channels in Europe.

Strong understanding of retail purchasing logic, supplier negotiations, and product listing processes.

Established network within key retail chains (Aldi, Lidl, Carrefour, Tesco, etc.).

Background in paper products, stationery, home décor, gifts, toys, or beauty and personal care preferred.

Former retail buyers or category managers (home, stationery, or seasonal merchandise) looking to transition to the supplier side are welcome.

Excellent strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills.

Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and passionate about market development and achieving results.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Printing, or related fields preferred.

Willingness to travel internationally, including to our China manufacturing centers with clients.
