Overview

This role will require someone who is confident in delivering the highest standards in customer service at a fast pace whilst retaining a friendly and positive work environment at Fantail. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your passion for hospitality and coffee will contribute to creating memorable experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and welcoming hospitality, engaging with customers to create memorable experiences and build lasting relationships.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe, ensuring that every aspect of the environment reflects our commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold standards of excellence in all aspects of cafe operations, from beverage preparation to customer interactions.
  • Be punctual, professional and friendly in all aspects of your role.
  • Provide menu recommendations and upsell food and beverage items to enhance the guest experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to resolve issues promptly.
  • Support team members in various tasks as required, fostering a cooperative working environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry, with capability to manage busy rushes without a sweat.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating meaningful connections with guests.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.85-£13.15 per hour
