J&S Vans have proudly served commercial customers for over 20 years. As Peterboroughs largest independent used commercial vehicle provider, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to drive growth and sales on a self-employed basis.
The ideal candidate will have a wealth of Automotive experience - Commercial experience would be advantageous though not essential. As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the overall business unit and aim to continuously deliver fast-paced exceptional customer service whilst your attention to detail ensures the smooth running of the overall dealership.
Key Responsibilities
To meet and exceed sales targets on Commercial vehicles by maximising all incoming enquiries via online/phone and face to face making sure all handled promptly and professionally. You must be keen to maximise profitability with a great understanding of add-on products including confidence and compliance (FCA compliant) relating to vehicle finance and extended warranty sales.
To keep up to date on all new stock arrivals including full responsibility for advertising and marketing across our website, Auto Trader and social media platforms. This will include all vehicle photography, descriptions and other promotional activity along with ensuring the showroom and vehicle display areas are neat and tidy. You will monitor market trends and pricing, identify opportunities for growth and manage the vehicle preparation team to ensure all vehicles are retail ready to a high standard.
You will also be responsible for all vehicle handovers and any aftersales support whilst managing all customer complaints to seek resolution and maintain customer relationships.
In return, we offer a fantastic basis salary along with uncapped commission earnings on all vehicle sales and company vehicle provided.

Must have full UK Driving License
