We are looking for a motivated and detail-orientated Commercial Assistant to join our Business Development & Commercial team and help us deliver excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate commercial and project documentation.
  • Liaise with internal departments, clients, and suppliers to support efficient project delivery.
  • Assist with cost tracking, budget monitoring, and commercial reporting.
  • Support the preparation, review, and management of contracts, quotations, and tenders.
  • Assist with document transmittals and ensure project deliverables are submitted in-line with the project schedule
  • Review completed and ongoing job costings against budgeted costs and analyse/report results
  • Manage and monitor all aspects of projects and tenders, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Generate and issue timesheets for internal and external approval for all ongoing reimbursable projects.
  • Ensure projects are profitable and aligned with the company's financial targets.
  • Provide support for project logistics, including personnel travel, accommodation, visa, immunisations, medicals and training certifications
  • Assist with the development of new, or improvement of existing, sales and marketing material, in-line with the Cyan Renewables branding guidelines
  • Assist various parts of the business by producing high-quality, accurate, and effective business administration.

About you:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a commercial, administrative, or project support role — ideally within the energy, marine, or engineering sectors.
