Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.

Duties

  • Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote the development of children aged 0-5 years.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop best practices in early childhood education.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development and behaviour.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
  • Provide leadership and management support within the team, mentoring less experienced staff when required.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare.
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
  • Strong management and leadership skills to guide a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or visits.
