Assistant manager position for Westend Branch Glasgow
Lucky B's Hot Chicken traces its roots back to a journey across the Atlantic, born from the shared passion and vision of best friends Giancarlo Celino and Toni Dobrenko.
Their adventure began after an inspirational holiday in the USA, where they discovered and fell in love with one of America's staple fast food delights : Nashville -style hot chicken.
The duo spent months searching for, tasting and perfecting their chicken recipe. Their commitment to quality led to creating what they considered the juiciest and most tender fried chicken on the planet. The chicken is lovingly marinated in buttermilk and a blend of secret ingredients for 24 hours, coated in a bespoke dredge and fried to a perfect crisp and golden hue. It is then dunked in hot Nashville oil and seasoned with spices inspired by traditional Nashville recipes, capturing the authentic taste and soul – warming spice Giancarlo and Toni had fallen in love with in the States.

Job description
Assistant Store Manager
You will support the restaurant manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure high-quality food, exceptional customer experience, and efficient service. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining operational standards, managing inventory and costs, and helping achieve financial and service goals.

· Able to operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Assisting in managing daily operations, including opening and closing duties.
· Able to achieve the highest customer satisfaction by producing quality products.
· Work to brand standards for food and operations with the focus on the customer experience as the top priority. Training will be given in all relevant products and equipment.
· Effectively communicate with others to complete the duties and responsibilities expected and lead your team to do the same
· Welcome new team members, be a team player. Ensuring you are delivering Lucky Bs beliefs and core values.
· Help all the team members achieve and maintain the appropriate skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional products and customer service
· Demonstrate consistent operational standards and procedures that positively impact the store's overall operations and ultimately helping the store achieve those all important KPIs
Key skills and knowledge
· Maintaining appropriate portion control and consistently monitoring food levels within the kitchen. Following brand standards at all time. Having a strong understanding of food costs and inventory systems.
· Work to Food Safety standards at all times. Will achieve level 2 food safety whilst in employment, and also level 3.
· Maintaining proper food handling and safety standards while preparing food. Follow the EHO guidelines, and in house audit systems.
· Ability to fill in daily paperwork in line with trail compliance and also train others to do so.
Assist in scheduling and managing labour costs within budgeted guidelines.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cost control. Handle cash management, sales reconciliation and reporting
Being able to take customer orders, and engaging with great customer service.
Flexibility in working hours
Qualifications
2-4 years' experience in restaurant or QSR management
Proven leadership and team management skills.
