Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People (QEF) is a national disability charity working with over 10,000 disabled children and adults every year. Based in Leatherhead, Surrey, our Engagement and Partnerships team plays a crucial role in enabling this life-changing work — and we are looking for a Senior Trusts Executive, to support our team during a busy period on a 3-month fixed term contract for up to 25 hours per week.

THE ROLE

As a key member of the Philanthropy and Trusts team, you'll lead on raising vital income from charitable trusts and foundations — through compelling, creative, and strategically aligned funding proposals. You will manage and grow a portfolio of existing funders, revive lapsed relationships, and identify new funding opportunities across QEF's services.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Lead trust fundraising activities, targeting both restricted and unrestricted income.
  • Write and submit high-quality, persuasive funding bids and tailored proposals.
  • Manage a pipeline of trusts and foundations to help meet income targets.
  • Support donor stewardship and prepare impactful funding reports.
  • Work closely with colleagues across QEF to develop strong cases for support.
  • Maintain accurate records on Raiser's Edge (CRM).

This is a hands-on role with real impact — perfect for someone with strong experience who can hit the ground running.

ABOUT YOU

You're a strategic, relationship-driven fundraiser with:

  • A proven track record of securing income from charitable trusts and foundations.
  • Outstanding written communication and bid writing skills.
  • Experience managing donor pipelines and using a CRM (preferably Raiser's Edge).
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive, organised, and independent working style.
  • Passion for QEF's mission and a genuine desire to support disabled people.
