Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Payroll Administrator to join our team. The post will provide opportunity for individuals with a strong background in data entry to contribute to the smooth operation of our payroll functions.

Duties

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective monitoring of the timesheet mailbox.
  • Download and review all timesheets submitted on a weekly basis.
  • Calculate engineers hours and overtime by checking against the tracker system, collating and checking timesheets for accuracy.
  • Monitoring and handling of queries in relation to hours. Identifying and requesting missing timesheets.
  • Input results accurately into payroll spreadsheets.
  • Prepare analysis for payroll.
  • Prepare weekly analysis for managers.
  • Update ERP system with labour costs to ensure accurate job costing.

Other:

· Any other job allocated by the Payroll Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, thorough with attention to detail
  • Previous experience in payroll is desirable
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to work to timesheet and payroll deadlines.

This position is ideal for candidates who are meticulous, proactive, and eager to support organisational efficiency through administrative support.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £14,286.00 per year

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
