Job Title: Residential Childcare Worker
Location: Irthlingborough
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience & qualifications)
Job Type: Full-time | Permanent | Shift Work including evenings, weekends & sleep-ins

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Residential Childcare Worker to join our caring and committed team in Irthlingborough. You will play a crucial role in supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs in a warm, safe, and nurturing home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care, guidance, and support to children aged 8–18 with complex needs
- Build trusting relationships and act as a positive role model
- Support young people with education, health, activities, and life skills
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning and reviews
- Work as part of a team to ensure a consistent and therapeutic approach
- Promote safeguarding and ensure the highest standards of care are met
- Participate in shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in duties
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people (residential or similar setting preferred)
- A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A full UK driving licence (essential)
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
