We are looking for a nurse-qualified Deputy Manager to join an award-winning care home provider in the beautiful coastal town of Penzance, Cornwall. This Deputy Manager position comes with an excellent salary of £50,564 to £55,631, exceptional training and development opportunities and many more benefits.

This Deputy Manager role is in one of the best-regarded care homes in the area, offering the highest standard of complex dementia and nursing care. The highly trained & compassionate team recognise everyone is different, so getting to know each resident is vital to offering the best possible care.

Duties in this Deputy Manager role include:

  • Responsibility for monitoring standards of care delivered by qualified care staff
  • Supporting the Manager in implementing all policies, procedures, and objectives
  • Monitoring the well-being of each resident, being aware of any change impacting care and care plans, and ensuring that new needs are met
  • Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals.

The ideal candidate for this Deputy Manager role will be a qualified nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN. You will also have prior experience in a senior clinical position within a care home.
